REACH STACK OPERATOR
We are looking for a Reach Stack Operator for our shop in Anjou, Quebec.
Summary
The Reach Stack Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, and stacking line containers off our trucks.
Pay
$26,00 to $30,00 per hour based on experience.
Schedule- shift
Monday to Friday 15h00 - 23h00

Duties & Responsibilities
Operate reach stacker to lift containers from truck chassis according to movement requirements on a daily basis.
Ensure the yard is maintained to provide optimal performance.
Inspect equipment for any visual possible damage.
Inspect equipment at the beginning of your shift to ensure that it is operated properly.
Identify and report any safety problems, malfunctions, or damage to yard handling equipment, before, during, or after the shift.
Follow safe operating procedures and instructions, preventing any injury to persons, or damage to containers and other equipment and property.
Complete container handler or lift truck inspection sheet.
Complete daily inventory report.
Interpret and complete paperwork associated with the unloading of trailers.
Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks that adhere to company Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security Policies.
Performs other related work duties as required.
Experience & Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have 2-3 years of experience as a reach stacker operator or forklift operator.
A valid reach stacker license from a recognized training provider is required.
Proficiency in the operation of lift-truck, up to 21,000 pounds (10,000kg) capacity is an asset.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions, with heavy equipment, and exposure to dust, pollen, noise, and vibrations.
Ability to Frequently climb and balance, gripping handholds while working at heights of 4-8 feet (1-2 meters) off the ground.
Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Ability to lift 20 pounds repetitively.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to read and comprehend standard procedures and practices.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to work on uneven and or slippery surfaces.
Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
