Reporting to the Shop Supervisor or Shop Manager, the Parts Person is responsible for maintaining an inventory level necessary to operate an efficient shop production, as requested by the Shop Supervisor.


* Management of owned and consigned inventory.

* Issuance and control of purchase orders.
* Ordering of parts and supplies and work invoicing of internal and external customers.
* Customer service representative for external customers.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven track record of group leadership and commitment to quality and safety.
* Knowledge of TRIMAC's operating standards, policies, and procedures would be helpful.
* Possess a thorough knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts.
* Computer literate

High School Diploma required
* Prior experience of 2-3 years in a similar role
