Pay Details
$24 per hour
Schedule
- Monday to Friday 3pm-7pm with OT opportunities after hours and over the weekends
- Part Time Position
Job Details
- Plastic resin transload and railcar storage facility.
- Ability to read and follow the company and site-specific policies and procedures.
- Must be able to pass CN & CP eRail safe background checks.
- Participation in safety training programs
- Professional interaction and collaboration with other BPL Team Members and customers
- Weigh scale operator (scaling in trucks in and out of facility).
- Communicating and verifying self-load transfers.
- Assist with maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned
- Work safely, using proper and supplied PPE.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

- Grade 12 or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Detail oriented
- Must have clear and concise radio communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of mechanical equipment.
- Operation of hand tools and air tools preferred.
- Positive work ethic and attitude.
- Team Player.
- Valid Driver's License or ID
- May work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less
- Must meet physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, and sense of smell and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
- May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less.
- Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Previous industrial experience preferred
- Previous experience operating machinery preferred
- Basic computer skills.
Qualifications

- Must meet physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, and sense of smell and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
- May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 40lbs or less.
- Able to pass all required railway operating rules examinations.
