 Accounts Payable Analyst

  • Review, process and key invoices, expense claims, cheque requests, money wires, and online payments
  • Verify coding and approvals from branches
  • Manage Branch PO process including:
  • Providing support to the branches on PO queries, PO analysis, follow-up and general support
  • Manage PO workflows 
  • Participate in the monthly accounting functions including:
  • Standard monthly entries
  • Review and analysis of financial operating statements
  • Providing support to the branches on financial statement queries, analysis, follow-up and general support
  • Maintenance of National Accounts
  • Reconcile monthly and make corrections as necessary
  • Correspond with branches regarding corrections and provide training as necessary
  • Prepare monthly consolidated billing for multiple vendors
  • Respond to daily inquiries from vendors and branches via phone or email
  • Prepare, investigate and correct monthly account reconciliations
  • Provide support to AP Clerks as required including managing high volume AP inboxes
  • Implement continuous improvement and review processes to ensure efficiency in all areas
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong comfort with systems including ERP (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Intermediate skills using Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively

Professional and Development Activities:

  • Preference will be given to candidates interested in pursuing an Accounting Degree/CPA Designation or relevant experience
