Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director, Revenue Quality to lead strategic and operational aspects of customer invoicing, driver pay (settlement), contract administration, and pricing across our North American trucking operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of all revenue capture processes—directly contributing to our financial performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Billing, Settlement, Contract Administration, and Pricing functions to support transportation operations in North America.
• Lead efforts to improve billing and settlement accuracy, system automation, and reduce manual interventions through strategies like Batch Bill & Batch Pay.
• Identify and lead cross-functional projects with IT, Sales, Payroll, and Operations aimed at improving contract clarity, systems utilization, and process efficiencies.
• Develop and implement productivity and quality KPIs, ensuring teams meet performance standards and operational objectives.
• Ensure accurate capture of accessorial revenue and uphold contract compliance through improved pricing and administrative practices.
• Make independent decisions regarding process enhancements, resource allocation, prioritization of initiatives, and problem resolution, escalating only high-impact issues.
• Collaborate with Sales Directors to ensure commercial agreements are clearly defined and easily executable, simplifying downstream workflows.
• Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex billing and pay disputes, driving sustainable solutions through root cause analysis and preventive action.
• Manage teams of Managers, Supervisors, Pricing Analysts, Contract Administrators, and Billers located in Edmonton, Mississauga, and Houston.
• Manage and oversee staffing operations through third-party agencies, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality standards, and timelines.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify training opportunities, and champion professional development and upskilling within the team.
• Drive and model a culture of initiative and accountability, empowering teams to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Manage the annual departmental budget and oversee monthly reviews to track spend and align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the transportation industry.
