Job Details

The Coordinator, Talent supports the effectiveness of talent acquisition, onboarding, learning, and employee development programs across our North American operations. This role plays a critical part in administering key People & Culture (P&C) systems. The Coordinator, Talent streamlines system workflows, coordinates training and event logistics, administers surveys and ensures data accuracy across platforms.

 

This role reports to the Director, Talent and collaborates with P&C departments, new hires, contractors, Shared Services departments and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and administering the ATS, LMS, and Talent systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, user support, and system integrity
  • Coordinating training logistics, including scheduling sessions, managing registrations, supporting facilitators and speakers, and tracking LMS completions
  • Monitoring and improving system workflows to reduce inefficiencies, streamline handoffs, and support scalable talent processes
  • Generating and distributing reports and dashboards related to hiring activity, training completion, and talent development metrics
  • Administering and track feedback surveys, escalate issues and compile insights for P&C leadership
  • Maintaining process documentation and support the rollout of new system features or process updates
  • Operating as a primary point of contact for system-related troubleshooting and end-user support for P&C team members, other back-office departments, leaders and employees
  • Assisting with special projects related to employer branding, onboarding experience, and employee development initiatives
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive people data with professionalism and integrity
  • Championing change and a culture of continuous learning throughout Trimac

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within P&C/HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development or Talent Management
  • Certificate or diploma in P&C/Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning & Development, or a related field
  • Experience supporting a diverse workforce
  • Experience supporting system administration or end-user support for HR platforms is considered an asset
  • Experience coordinating training sessions or events is considered an asset
  • Experience in the bulk transportation, logistics or related field is considered an asset
