Welder

National Tank Services (a division of Trimac Transportation) is looking for an experienced Welder for our shop in Kamloops, BC. Pay:

• Journeyman Welder $42.92
• Level C Welder $38.62

Hours:

• shift options available
• days or afternoons, 8 or 10-hour shifts
• Tues-Sat, Wed-Sat, Sun-Thurs, Sun-Wed

Job Details:

• Preventative maintenance on trailers and commercial trailers/trucks.
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension, and product pump rebuilds.
• Follow safe work procedures and use proper PPE.

Experience/Requirements:

• Aluminum welding, Steel welding, Stainless welding - multiple positional welding required.
• Operation of hand and air tools.
• Must be physically fit and reasonably strong enough to perform required duties.

Your Profile:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Positive work ethic and attitude.
