Reporting to the Team Lead Network Operations, the Network Analyst is responsible for providing all levels of support to Trimac's network infrastructure. This includes the design, configuration, deployment, and support of all components associated with the network environment. Areas of support include LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, Firewall, Data Centre, Load Balancer, and Cloud network solutions. Candidate should possess strong troubleshooting and communication skills. The work hours may vary due to remote sites that are in different time zones. Light to moderate physical activities should be expected and will require a physical presence in the office in a hybrid work environment.

  • Manage day-to-day deliverables including installing, configuring, and maintaining network technologies.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues that arise.
  • Assist with the implementation of network upgrades.
  • Lead role in planning and designing network infrastructure.
  • Monitor all network equipment to ensure optimal availability and performance.
  • Maintain a strong security posture.
  • Collaborate with vendors or third parties to resolve complex network problems.
  • Develop and update documentation.
  • On-call rotation for after-hours support.

  • Strong team player, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Robust ability to configure, maintain and deploy Fortinet hardware.
  • Highly proficient in configuring, maintaining, and deploying Cisco hardware including Meraki.
  • Adept at prioritizing multiple activities with tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable to changing working conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with high attention to detail.
  • Experience working at a fast pace while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Strong knowledge of Routing protocols, Switching protocols, and VPN.

  • Minimum five (5) years of network experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies including FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, and FortiGate (NSE 4 certification a plus).
  • CCNA/CCNP certification and experience with Cisco IOS and configurations via CLI.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki including wireless access points and cameras.
  • Experience with VMWare networking.
  • Experience with SD-Wan technologies.
  • Experience with Network Load Balancer.
  • Experience with AWS / Azure networking.
  • Experience with SolarWinds IPAM, Intermapper, Lucidchart, and Visio.
  • Experience with ITIL Change Management.
