B620 Tank Tester/Inspector

National Tank Services (a division of Trimac Transportation) is looking for a B620 Tank Tester/Inspector for our team. We value hard work, perseverance, and dedication and looking for people looking to grow! We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and a pension program.

Hours and Pay:
  • Monday to Thursday 3pm to 1:30am or Friday to Sunday 7am to 7:30pm
  • Pay: $34
Responsibilities:
  • Inspection and testing of: TC 406, 407, 412, 423, 331, and 350 tanks.
  • Welding experience an asset.
  • Trailer PM experience an asset.
  • Maintain equipment in a professional manner.
  • Follow policies & procedures.
  • Work safely, using directed PPE.
  • Complete tasks in a timely fashion as to the Standard Repair Time Guidelines.
  • Maintain fleet equipment.
  • Drive and Shunt equipment.
Skills:
  • Positive and strong work ethic.
  • Operation of hand tools.
  • Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
  • Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.
Educational Requirements:
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • B620 Certification
  • Must meet physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, and sense of smell and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed.
  • May stand and walk onleveland uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs. or less.
  • Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15 feet
